Good location, easy check-in and having sky tv in the rooms was a good touch for entertainment

The toilet upstairs took about 5 mins to flush and would clog. Would’ve been nice to have some hooks in the room to hang towels and hangers in the wardrobe. The closest carpark is very expensive.

we were not expecting the house to be like a students flat , we should have read more of the detail hence we did not stay , bookedi nto a local premier inn instead

It's got everything you need to explore Canterbury for a few days: a warm, safe, spotless tidy, and spacious room with a comfortable bed, fluffy towels and toiletries, a clean shared bathroom with a warm shower, and even an outdoor smoking area. The location is superb, you can go anywhere on foot, including both train stations. The host is very kind, responds very fast, and flexible - granted me a late check-out with no charge since the room would be available.

There are tiny things that could be tweaked, but don't impact the overall positive experience: there's an electric kettle with tea and coffee inside the room, but no mug or spoon. There's no place to store your luggage in case you need to vacate the room but you leave later. Also, I've got a ground floor bedroom with the window straight to the street, so if you're a light sleeper, ask for an upstairs or internal room, as the noise from people passing by (remember this is a city with lots of loud, young students) can bother a bit. It's manageable, though.

The location was wonderful - very close to town centre and with two excellent restaurants literally 1 minute away each.

Ran out of toilet paper, coffee and tea. No coathangers. Bedside table only on one side of bed. Very little cutlery.

Loved the location. Staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. Especially as my reservation had a slight issue. Room was very comfortable and clean. Thank you very much.

The cups and plates in the pantry cupboards were dirty. The shared uoilet upstairs was not kept clean by whoever else used it. They would collect empty water bottles that they urinated into overnight , in the toilet ! It was pretty disgusting. If not for this, I would give my stay a 9/10. Maybe there is a way you can advise guests about using common facilities? Otherwise, excellent!
