Quiet area , clean the room, comfortable bed

Need to use a bus from station to house but totally everything is good

Lovely time in Acomb feeling like a local. Rebecca is a great host and is very personable.great amenities and refreshments ~ the coffee bar is a great touch!

It's not very central to York (but it's quite nice walking up the river in any case!)

First time for me at a homestay. I loved it! So homely. Nice room, good WiFi and tv, good shower. Bus into town just around the corner. Parking on street in front. Would absolutely definately recommznd.

a quaint little room with access to bathroom shared with one other room. Nice and clean and extremely cheap.

Felt almost like an en-suite. Toaster Microwave TV even a small but very useful fridge!! Warm room, quiet location

Mattrass not the best if I’m honest, but it was ok

Rebecca is kind and friendly. She kindly helped me with my luggage. The room was cosy and there was everything you needed, incl. a mini fridge, a microwave, a kettle, dishes and a TV with Amazon Prime (as a bonus)! I shared a bathroom with another person on the same floor but had no issue at all and again, there was everything you needed. You can hear the noise as it's a house for her family with kids, but again, I had no problem. You can take either bus 5 or 5A from York Railway Station. Also, there are Co-op and another store nearby. Thank you very much and I'd recommend this accommodation!

It was a bit difficult to find the house as it was dark and hard to read the address (number), but you can guess as it's between the houses 24 & 28!

Lovely host, very comfortable, lots of freedom in the room + bathroom.

Location was good - walkable from train station and walkable to main streets.

Instructions were difficult to follow. No elevator to 4th floor. No light in alleyway to see what you were doing.
