Guest house Amirhan

We loved Amirhan. The room was the biggest and nicest we had in Kyrgyzstan, and the staff and food were all excellent. Lots of the food is the family’s own produce and everything we ate was delicious. The guesthouse isn’t in the centre of town but it’s in a lovely location and easy enough to walk or taxi in and out. The family that runs the guesthouse are all super friendly and helped us to arrange taxis and transfers to our next destinations.

It was simply perfect. We didn't expect so much in this town, but this guesthouse, newly opened and with everything we appreciate in an accommodation, was a nice surprise. The room was wide, beds were comfortable, bath was clean and the breakfast...wonderful! And above all, the attitude of the owners, really kind with us in every aspect. I totally recommend this place. We loved our stay. The mini hosts—adorable and welcoming children—made the experience even more enjoyable. If requested in advance, they can also prepare a delicious and homely dinner for you. The breakfast was amazing as well. The kids sang songs and performed traditional dances in their traditional attire, adding a special touch to our visit. The hosts were extremely friendly and among the best we've encountered. Our accommodations were super comfortable and spacious. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bokonbaveyo or the surrounding areas. There are also many nearby supermarkets and restaurants.

Der Aufenthalt war einer der besten den wir in kirgistan hatten. Die Anlage ist neu und die Gastgeber sind sehr bemüht den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen waren gut und reichlich. Die Kommunikation klappte gut, die älteste Tochter spricht etwas englisch und den Rest macht google translate :-) Wir kommen wieder!

I had a wonderful stay. The hostess was very helpful and welcoming.

Room was very comfortable and very clean. All required amenities were available. The host family were vey welcoming and were keen to ensure that we were comfortable. Breakfast and Dinner was excellent in the newly built dinning area. We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely stay again.

Everything was fantastic. The set up is very new. The room is comfy and has everything you need. The farm is delightful, with loads of fresh produce and a lovely horse. The guesthouse is in a slightly seperate area, to give the guest their own space, including a really nice terraced area with a view of the village and mountains. However, the best part of this guesthouse is undoubtably the family which owns it. They are some of the most welcoming I have ever met. They sorted out trips, gave me piles of food, and organised a taxi back to Bishkek for me. They even welcomed me into their living room. They have 5 children, who remind me of the Kyrgz version of the Von Trapps from the sound of music, they showed me traditional dances, musical performances, and even Russian lessons. If you're going to Bokonbayevo, don't even consider staying anywhere else!

It’s a pleasure to write this first review, especially as we have never written a review for anywhere before - which hopefully tells you a lot. We had an incredible experience staying with Ilgiz, Gulaiym and their lovely family. As their first ever guests we didn’t know what to expect but we were greeted with so much warmth and kindness!! Where to start!? The home is beautiful there is an amazing yurt which we stayed in with very comfy beds. The garden is amazing and they have 300 apple trees and a horse and foal and a cow and calf! Gulaiym cooked amazing food for us (we were never hungry!) and treated us with so much care. The eldest daughter Aelina speaks some English and with the help of google translate it was very easy to communicate - she also gave us a tour of the village and was really helpful and interesting! During our first meal the youngest daughter Ainazik did a traditional dance for us and it was so wonderful it made me cry. The middle daughter then played an amazing instrument for us called a Comos - it was an unforgettable experience. If you have any doubts on whether to visit here or not - they also have an INCREDIBLE Sauna and bathhouse. We could not have had a better stay here and wish you all the happiness in the world!
