Manor Green Cottage

The room was in the cottage and cute. Had potential for a neat cozy sitting nook in the attic area. Had everything we needed. Super close to the train! It was literally immediately behind the property so that convenience was our favourite part!!!! Made getting to Londond to sightsee a breeze. Just l hop on straight to Waterloo station. As soon as u get out of the station, u have lots of bus stops right there to get on a city tour. Each bus stop has guides who help u with tickets and figure out a route if u haven't pre-booked. They have it figured out to a T! Staff was super friendly and helpful!!!!!!!! Daniel was our favourite. The permanent tenant downstairs in the cottage was also a gem! Bed was comfy but a wee bit small (double as opposed to queen.)

Also, the bathroom was not clean...like someone forgot to wipe it the sink, mirror, tiles. Room service was terrible while we were out. Only made the bed but didn't empty garbage, bring clean cups, or fresh towels. Just hung ours back up after we threw them in the tub. Needs a soap dish as the soap just makes a mess of the counter. Sink drain is clogged and doesn't drain well. The area has a lot of migrants. Made us two caucasian women a bit uncomfortable. We were followed off the train by a caucasian male and had to shake him off by signaling him that we were aware of his activity and walk a different route to our door. Could happen anywhere though.

We were out of time for breakfast. We just have a coffe in the room with some pastry given by the hotel. We receive good instructions about how to go by bus to the airport (20')

Is close to airport (good) but the planes noise only stop from 11:30 pm to 6:30 am. Obviously nothing related to the hotel.

The carpet didn't feel clean. Accommodation tight king size bed dominates space Bedding too soft and floppy Outside area untidy Stairs and entrance tight, however, not over occupied during our stay

Very cosy. Does the job for a night.

Very difficult checking in. Was smaller than it looked from the pictures.
