GBSuper affordable. Nice and social especially with the bar attached. Nice communal spaces. They took volunteers so great for travellers looking to save money.
No fan or air con so the room got super hot in the day and colder at night. Didn't disrupt sleep but made the room not so comfortable to spend time in the day. I was there 5 nights and there was no toilet paper for the whole duration, also also often no soap and and unclean facilities.

The electricity at the designated bed didn't work, lack of lockers, and the cleanliness of the rooms and toilets was poor, Although most of the staff were very nice, one of the employee was very rude, focused on profit and cheating tourists.

ITNLIf you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to sleep on a mattress rescued from the side of the road, this is your chance. The mattresses looked like it had lived several lives before meeting us. Air circulation? The room had the atmosphere of a sealed lunchbox left in the sun. Everything felt slightly moist at all times. To make it even better the pillow smelled like a wet towel. To top it off, we were gently awakened in the morning by the subtle yet unmistakable scent of urine drifting through the room. Nothing says “good morning” like that. Wildlife enthusiasts will also be pleased: there was a cockroach casually exploring the floor, and a black worm made a surprise appearance from the shower drain. It’s always nice when nature comes to visit, just not like this. On a positive note there were a few bright spots. The floor was actually clean. The location was great, which made escaping the building very convenient. And there was filtered drinking water available. Overall, if you’re looking for a place to test your immune system, build character, and reconsider your life choices, this hostel is perfect.
