Holywood Sea Renity

Great views. Close to the ferry docks. Clean and tiddy.

The location is excellent, overlooking the sea, with a constant procession of shipping to and from the docks. Plane spotters will also appreciate being under the flight path to Belfast City Airport, although there aren’t many fights and none after about 21.00. Holywood is an upmarket suburb of Belfast with plenty of places to eat and drink and the apartment is a short walk away from the railway station with regular trains to the city centre and to Bangor.

What appears from the photos to be a balcony overlooking the sea is in fact part of the access route to two other flats. You can take chairs and sit there, but it isn’t private space. (The entry on Booking.com doesn’t claim that it is).The rear balcony is spoilt by the extractor fan from the pub next door and the noise from the nearby by-pass (not audible inside the property). There were few instructions about how things worked (although the owner was quick to respond to queries) and no information about the local area other than a few takeaway menus.

Excellent location and views.

Great location, clean and tidy with good amenities. Nice and quiet with easy access to Holywood town centre and the train station. Good communication from the owner before and during our stay which was reassuring.
