Harbour Guest House

Restaurant and food were terrific. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts and dinner. In addition to great food, the servers also went out of their way to take care of us.

We were extremely upset about the facilities in relation to the write up. For example, the booking reservation said ‘studio apartment’ and ‘washing machine’. In reality, it was a VERY small, hot, poorly ventilated single room. There was no fridge, kitchen, washer or seating area. The feet of the 2 beds were within inches of each other. We strongly feel this is false representation. We had to pay 30 GBP extra to get a single load of laundry done.

Really great stay! The breakfast was delicious and the staff were so friendly. The location was also great.

Friendly and helpful staff excellent breakfast

We were traveling with a large family group, and we all loved the place. It was very convenient to have all the shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance. The we loved the breakfast that was served each morning, and the staff was very accommodating with menu choices. We would also like to thank the staff they were very helpful though out our whole stay!

There was nothing positive I could say about the property.

My room was the size of a single bed without any window or toilet. The heat was unbearable and I had claustrophobia. I did not know that it was even legal to put a human being into such a room and even considered sleeping in my car. I eventually slept with the room door wide open which again was terrible due to lights and noise of people coming and going. The charge for this prison cell was £125.46 per night, I say prison cell however I doubt that there is a prison cell as bad as this anywhere in the UK. It looks as though it has once been a cupboard that someone has squeezed a single bed into. Shared Toilet is a flight of stairs below but not to worry a hairdryer is provided !

Location, easy parking, excellent breakfast and friendly staff in the Tobermory Hotel who seemed to be the owners of Harbour lights,

Room was a bit small, no window other than a Velux in the bathroom roof with a class panel to the bedroom for natural light, some of the fittings etc were the cheapest on the market i.e. toilet seat cheap plastic, bedside tables very lightweight and cheap. we saw other rooms and they were far superior. We get the feeling that Booking.com do not get the better rooms in some situations, this being one.

Ontbijt en diner in het restaurant waren erg goed. De kamer was lekker ruim.
