There was nothing to dislike.

We were looking for a clean, calm, quiet, non-smoking, non-drinking place to stay. And we found it here! We loved much natural light through windows (I don't feel comfortable in rooms without windows and I am sure that many foreigners feel like me.) We kept the windows open and enjoyed the clean and fresh air. The environment is so quiet, that most of the time we could enjoy the eagles' voice. A mosque is nearby, you can listen to their prayers, too. We didn't mind it at all. The location is not central, but if you are looking for a calm and peaceful stay, you can find it here, and can reach sights easily. We rented a bike for transportation during our holiday. No smoking and no alcohol is our basic lifestyle and we are happy, that we could find a place where we could avoid smoking and drinking people. Both the room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. We liked the nice interiors and simple decoration. The bed was comfortable with a special mattress. As a guest in Moonshine Homestay you become a part of a loving and caring family. We got much help, even before our arrival. Thank you for all recommendations and advice. We hope we can go back soon.

I would appreciate an electric kettle in the room.

Everything was beyond my expectations. The hosts were incredibly caring and kind — they welcomed me warmly and answered all my questions with attention. The breakfast was delicious, the room was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable. The energy of the place is simply magical, and the location is great. I got sick due to the weather, and they took care of my health and even helped with my travel arrangements. Such a loving and thoughtful family — I felt truly supported and touched🙏 Wish to come back!

A perfect little home stay away from home with an eager to please host, close enough to the beach to be handy, far enough away to be reasonable. I weird to be excited about having a washing machine and line available for me to do my own laundry. Great stay, highly recommended!!

We had an amazing experience at Moonshine Homestay.the place is spotless clean, and very quaint and charming.The room is simple, cosy and remarkably clean. Mr GUL MEER and Mr ashik are perfect hosts - they're funny, friendly, welcoming and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. If nothing else, you'll make two great friends on your trip. If you're looking for an affordable accommodation, look no further. I"m a young traveller who needs to come to Srinagar frequently for research purposes, and there is no where else i'd be more comfortable staying.
