"Boat Trip and place are amazing, staff needs improvement"

The boat trip was amazing, we we're only 2 and our Guide had an excellent knowledge about the different birds of the area. The cleaning ladys we're really friendly and the terrasse with the View over the river is beautiful. The room was Clean and spacious, but a bit stuffy

To be honest the Service at the Restaurant. There was one eldery Lady who was really friendly, but the Rest...could be better. First the forget us for the Dinner, several waitress crossed our way until one Lady helped us to give us a free Seat in the Last Corner of the Restaurant. Then we waited a Long Time until someone came. They Hand over the card for the Drinks, But did Not explain how the Dinner works or offered us the card for the Dinner to choose our Main dish. Next morning for breakfast they gave us the Same Table and asked for our breakfast wishes, Afterwards a bigger group came.....in the end i got my eggs 20 mins later and my partner another 20 mins later. The group got their breakfast in between. We wanted to eat together so we asked after a several time when the second dish will come and got an annoyed answer. The review seems to be picky, but the price we paid and the Service we got are not matching

Très bon lodge prêt de la rivière okavango, bon accueil, excursions intéressantes sur la rivière. Les hébergements sont de qualité tout comme la restauration.

"Tolle Lodge direkt an den Popa-Fällen"

Die Shametu River Lodge liegt etwas weiter vom Mahango Park weg als andere Quartiere. Das ist kein Problem. Der Vorteil ist, dass man bei der optionalen und sehr empfehlenswerten Bootstour am Morgen die Popa-Fälle sehen kann, da die Lodge direkt bei den Fällen liegt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Essen sehr lecker und niemand musste hungrig vom Tisch aufstehen. Die Zimmer waren tadellos.

"Empfehlenswert am Fluss"

Das Hotel liegt gut am Fluss. Es sind Bootstouren möglich und zu empfehlen. Ausstattung und Essen sind gut. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Die Zufahrt zum Hotel erfolgt über eine Nebenstraße und einen Schotterweg. Die Security am Gate war etwas begriffsstutzig.
