Personal is very friendly, price is very friendly, location is good

Airconditional was very cold.

Honestly the place has potential, but some of the so called staff needs to be replaced. NO HEAT in the winter at night. It got cold. The AC units were high up and looked sketchy, so I didn't check them to see if they might have had heat as an option. After my return for my second paid night, they would not let me enter and tried to keep my bags that were held from the first night. My first time to New Orleans and this guy ruined my experience. I had to go pay to stay in another hotel. Now I'm waiting on the train to take me home. Needless to say, I have no desire to return because of how this so called employee treated me and my family..

Honestly some of the so called staff needs to be replaced. NO HEAT in the winter at night. It got cold. The AC units were high up and looked sketchy, so I didn't check them to see if they might have had heat as an option. We arrived to find trash in the floor and trash cans and a cold bottle of opened ginger ale on the night stand between the beds. Our beds didn't have the fitted sheets or pillow cases on them, but it was so late that I didn't want to bother anyone so I used the flat sheet to cover everything until morning. After my return for my second paid night, they would not let me enter and tried to keep my bags that were held from the first night. I'm praying to get my money back seeing how HOSTEL Auberge and it's affiliates would not let me enter for no good reason. They talked of being Christian, but God's people are caring and loving. They wouldn't put a family on the streets with no where to go in a strange place. I was left crying on the curb wondering where I was going to take my family to be safe for the night and wondering if I was going to have money to cover a night stay somewhere else.
