GBEverything, we are so pleased we picked this hotel. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. From the kind room upgrade for our honeymoon, to the friendly staff in the restaurant, grounds and reception. To the exceptionally good food and the gorgeous views. We would come back here year after year if we could!

GBVery beautiful hotel located on a quiet section of the beach. Two pools that were always quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great place to relax. Food was delicious.
Spa seems amateur- we only booked one treatment but it was below expectation. Bungalows are located in nature and are rustic lots of insects around but we had no trouble inside the room. Mosquito nets and replants were available. Quite remote location not in walking distance of any shops, restaurants or ATM. The onsite restaurant is very nice but limited and pricy.

AEStaff (reception, restaurant, housekeeping) were exceptional. The place is nicely built and maintained. The location is beautiful (better than the photos) and quiet and not too secluded, you have nearby amenities and restaurants if you would like a change of scenery (although the restaurant is excellent and has gorgeous views on the beach). Been around to other beaches in Zanzibar and this is the one with the least inconvenience from the beach sellers etc. People at the beach are either tourists, fishermen going on with their business and greeting you "jambo" without pestering. Or very adorable local children enjoying the beach and playing in the anchored fishing boats. The occasional seller will leave you alone after a few seconds if you don't engage back with them (unlike Nungwi for example).
Very slight inconvenience with bugs, but that is to be expected for a tropical destination. If we wanted to avoid bugs, we would have stayed in the city back home.

ITGBReally happy with our choice! The whole area was very beautiful, filled with palmtrees and colorful flowers. Breakfast was always really good, while the lunch and dinner could vary a bit, but mostly good - and a whole lot better than all the other food we had in Tanzania. The employees were friendly and helpful. We fully recommend the Mnemba tour - go early in the morning (!) and the extra money is well spent as it ensures you get the away from other tourists. The resort has a great view for sunrise, but you have to go to ex. Nungwi or Kendwa for the sunset, which we did!
