This place is in a great location. The bed was really comfortable. There are tea and coffee facilities in the room. Check in was self serve and super easy. Good and clear communication from the hosts.

The carpet in the room was literally threadbare, it was mostly some threads. The toilet was not clean. There is a large glass panel above the main door and no separate door to the bedroom, if the hallway light is left on it just shines right through. The place overall appears quite run down, and for the price I 100% expected more.

Tho whole experience staying here was terrible place is falling apart we booked and paid for two nights only stayed the one left early the next morning I was wanting a refund but I would rather let them keep the money and give a bad review the rooms are falling apart dated drafty windows nosey it's like a haunted place just horrible I wish I took photos

Location was superb. Room was very comfortable even a sea view. The communal kitchen was good and clean.

The shower in my room didn't work well it was either boiling or cold, but there were showers on the landings so I used that. There were bedside lamps with no bulbs which was awkward and the TV remote worked when it felt like it probably batteries. I'm sure they would have been able to remedy this but I didn't have time on this trip to inform them.

I liked how large and spacious the room was, and the view over the seafront and park is really lovely on a sunny day. The wifi was always fast and reliable. The furniture/decor was uncommonly nice, and the telly was quite large. Although the kitchen/bathrooms are separate, they were all very nicely kept and spacious too. The location is great for those wishing to visit the D-Day museum, South Parade Pier or the shops. The Historic Dockyard is just about within walking distance. The keycode entry/lockboxes worked well. It was always pretty quiet and peaceful while I was there. The heating was pretty powerful too.

The stairs! There were 65 stairs up to our room, which was pretty tiresome, especially with large heavy suitcases on arrival. I only just about managed it. The TV is quite an old one, with no iPlayers or subtitles which was a bit annoying, let alone Netflix or YouTube or whatever, although it did have all of Freeview.

Great location with a sea view. Great room for the price.

I prefer an en suite bathroom, but not a deal breaker by any means.
