Villa Maera Ravello

Family run B&B clean, modern and located central / in the main square. I’ve been wanting to stay here for years! Beautiful and clean room with great bathroom / shower and view overlooking the Duomo. Unique. The attached restaurant is run by same family and it was delicious!

I was going for the most inexpensive room I could find. It was clean and looked like it had recently been updated. The location was great. Only a few steps from the main square. Also liked that there weren't a million steps to get to it. The person who checked us in was very nice but then never saw anyone again (we were only there for 2 nights). They gave us numbers to contact them via WhatsApp if needed (didn't need).

I didn't like that I didn't have access to contact them because I booked through booking.com. I tried reaching them through this sites cryptic email system but no response. I had to do some investigations into finding them and their website. Finally did and contacted them but no response. Finally I called them (international costs) and they picked up and confirmed my reservation. Then I whatsApp'ed them and they said they said they would send photos but never did. I asked to confirm the address, website, etc... they didn't. I was worried I was going to show up and not have a place to stay. I asked if they had another room for my cousin. No response. When we did show up, we had to check in at a restaurant. From that point on, it was all fine. Room didn't have a closet. Shower was so tiny. Could barely reach down to floor to grab shampoo as it didn't have a tray for soap or anything.
