Langport Arms Hotel

bed was comfortable, room large, plenty of coffee quiet except for road, room was clean and bedding fresh. Husband checked out and lady was very helpful and sent the invoice without fuss. We did nt have breakfast but it smelt good. As this place closed at 1830 and it was late we found a nice Indian Restaurant about 5 mins walk away Cardamom which I would recommend.

The place was grubby and is the worst hotel/b&B I have ever booked through booking.com. Stairways dark and black walls damp or mold. On arrival we were greeted by a dissatisfied man..pub was closed and no parking at premises bur carpark nearby. We asked if ok to park there it is free overnight but you have to pay after 0800...we were not told this but luckily we left early. Was told book in was before 1830 but I had indicated my arrival time to be later than this and at notime did either booking.com or the premises indicate that the booking was not accepted and I had paid albeit asked to pay again....Guy showed us to our room and was helpful and indcated his gripe was not with us....Albeit Langport was small place room overlooked road and cars started racing through from 0530. Shower had no pressure and couldnt get hairdryer to work

Dirty carpets throughout, no light outside side door that had to use after 10.30pm & 3 steps down to entrance, had to use torch on phone to find lock. Toilet in room didn’t flush most times tried to flush it. Room was cold. Breakfast was done to order but not freshly cooked, sausage was barely warm at one end & stone cold the other, bacon & tomato weren’t overly warm either.

Had a great stay for a wedding so located a short walk away. Good value for money & everything needed for a short stop over. Thanks

We really enjoyed the breakfast and the beds were very comfortable and spacious bedroom. Location is very close to amenities, supermarket, off licence, shops and cafes. Free wifi

The shower in our room wasn't really up to scratch, it wasn't very powerful just a trickle. The bath towels we used were torn.

The property is very convenient for a short stay to indulge in some fishing.

The hot water supply in the evening was problematic.

Una experiencia curiosa e immersiva. Parecía la casa de Dracula. Las camas eran cómodas, habitación grande y lavabo adecuado. Espacio exterior bonito. Facilidad de parking. Sitio muy tranquilo y con servicios varios.

Mal olor nada más entrar. Moqueta antigua en todos lados. Instalaciones antiguas y sucias. Necesita una buena renovación en general. Nula comunicación con el personal del hotel, no contestaron nunca los mensajes, aunque nos esperaron para hacer el check-in. La ducha era incómoda , no siempre iba el agua caliente.

Road noise as single pain windows which also let a draft through The pub and hotel reception closed at 7pm both nights of the stay and didn't serve food so had to travel out of langport On first arrival it was a ran down hotel which showed massive signs of damp throughout which has not been treated the rooms were clean but things hadn't been moved or clean under the beds Had 4 hours of sleep on the first night as one of the other rooms had the TV on till gone midnight then woken by road noise at just gone 5am

Breakfast was offered for £10 but I didn't have it.

The bed had a hard base that could be felt throough the mattress. The shower was merely a trickle of water. The old sash window was very hard to move up and down.

It was good for a night in Langport.

All was good.
