"Heerlijk rustig verblijf in een knusse authentieke woning"

Ausserordentlich schön gelegene Cottage. Die Cottage ist sehr gemütlich. Der Gastgeber ist zuvorkommend. Im weiteren war die Cottage extrem sauber. Werde gerne wieder meine Ferien dort verbringen.

"Lovely wee cottage for a quiet retreat."

Nice cottage, in remote setting, ideal for a quiet base to explore the island. It is remote, so every journey around involves considerable driving. Cosy at night with the woodburner on blazing. Good sized rooms.

"Would go back, absolutely."

The setting was beautiful, very clean, fully equipped. The host Daniel and his father Rob were both very helpful and friendly.

Perfect for us spending time away from it all, bit of a drive back to the main road for exploring the island.

"This is a lovely old cottage in a stunning location. It’s quirky but I would use it again."

Clean, tidy, comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Location was very nice with wonderful views. Good selection of tea, coffee, condiments etc that saved buying them and not using them.

Wi-Fi didn’t work and despite efforts to resolve it we had none for the duration. Hot water was tepid and tank was small. A bath is provided but could not be used. We shopped before we came and didn’t buy cereals as they were pictured in the welcome pack. The pack was there and was nice but no cereal. The wood burner had a broken glass in the door so burned wood very quickly and was less efficient.

"Loved the location and the people of Lewis & Harris"

Comfortable, clean and welcoming home. It was in a small village which was very pretty and felt very safe. We loved the winding drive to get there. We made most of our meals at home in the functional kitchen. The heating was excellent as it was quite cold and wet during our stay.

We had ongoing issues with both WiFi and mobile reception. The WiFi was eventually sorted successfully.
