Hotel Xurús Bacalar

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans ce petit hotel à taille humaine. Le personnel est très serviable, de bons conseils, les chambres sont très spacieuses et bien équipées (nous avions la suite - incroyable - et une chambre double). L'hotel dispose d'un ponton avec accès direct à la lagune, des Paddle et un kayak utilisables à volonté, la vue depuis les chambres est magnifique. Bien situé dans Bacalar (mais voiture préférable néanmoins, vélo à minima).

Petit déjeuner un peu sommaire, même si les quantités ne manquent pas.

Piscine pas entretenue, manque de transat, pas d'accès plage plutôt un ponton à bateau.

Excellent location on the lake with boats etc available. Clean and good friendly staff.

The place was spot on and just as in the pictures.The staff were very friendly and helpful on all things needed. The check in /out times are really great as if you arrive any early you can make use of the amenities of the hotel before you get your room and you can still have an early swimming or paddling before you depart.

The only thing is that some streets on the way to the city centre are not illuminated (no fault of the hotel), so at night you might want to drive instead of walking through dark streets (if you are a woman).

A wonderfully relaxing lakeside accommodation. I learned how to hammock like an old pro and SUP like a young one. Jorge was a perfect host as was his coworkers. The location is great. Bacalar Centro, ADO bus station, restaurants, and the four tours we took were all less than a 15min walk away.

A little drip coffee maker in each room would be nice.

La salle de bain et la piscine n’étaient pas très propre. Le petit déjeuner inclus est très basique ! On était dans une chambre de 4 mais que 3 équipements pour sortir sur la lagune (2 paddles et 1 kayak)

Staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the fruit/toast and coffee for breakfast. Location is right on the lake with a quick walk to shops and town. Room was comfy and quiet. They have a camera for car parking security.

Shower head squirted in odd directions and needed replacing. WiFi was weak and we had to walk around the room to find strong enough service. Only bath towels were provided. Would be nice to have wash clothes and hand towels.
