Todo. El personal, el gato, la habitación que era muy grande y con vistas a la laguna, el desayuno en el jardin, el kayak para dar una vuelta por la laguna…

El personal muy amable, pendiente constantemente de que todo estuviera bien. Nos sentimos muy a gusto en todo momento. Es un hotel muy pequeño y acogedor. Tienen kayak y paddle surf disponibles para el uso de sus clientes Las vistas desde la habitación sobre la laguna son magníficas. Unos amaneceres de ensueño.

Lo que menos nos gustó fue el desayuno, un poco pobre La piscina no me pareció muy limpia

"2 star accommodation with a 5 star view"

Spectacular view from the room overlooking Bacalar lake. 10-15 min walk to the city to restaurants. Dock allows you to swim in the lake, few options for watersports.

Poorly maintained room - ceiling leaking heavily on to bed during rain, shower drain completely blocked, water standing in basin as you shower, shower head sprays water everywhere, making floors wet. Included breakfast is a joke - coffee mate powder for coffee, a slice of long-life bread with jam. I mean how much does it cost to have fresh milk and better bread choice?! Outside of the perfect view, the hotel does not offer comfort.

"Great place with garden on the lake and super nice staff."

The perfect spot. Small scale place with the best garden and a dock on the lake. Rooms have a small deck and a view on the garden and lake. Paddle boards and kayak to explore the lake. Super friendly staff.

"Great place on the lake"

Very nice staff, beautiful location, spacious room, nice places to sit at the lake. You can use kayaks and sup board for free, and if you book a boat tour (paid) it leaves directly from the hotel.

The swimming pool doesn't look very clean, but you'll anyway want to swim in the lake instead. They were constructing a new jetty, so it should be easier to get in and out of the water soon. Not a negative, but just to be aware, it's a 15 minute walk to the town center.
