The Cottage Leyburn

Beautiful spacious cottage. All very clean with great facilities. Well equipped throughout. Would recommend to anyone wanting a great location as a base for exploring the Yorkshire area.

Great location- plenty of kitchen equipment to enable us to “eat in”. Lovely hot shower. Glad there was a dining table - great for board games as well as meals. Outdoor area great as we had fab. We did have to contact host and he got back to us straight away and was very helpful

Nothing to dislike. Only thing was we tried to open upstairs windows as it was so hot but couldn’t get them open - that may have been our fault. There may be a knack to it which we didn’t manage 🙂

Property as described. Location was perfect for easy access to local area and amenities. Ample space in both bedrooms and additional bathroom/shower room added very positively to the whole experience. Kitchen and dining space was excellent. The fully equipped kitchen was simple to use and additions such as washing machine, microwave and dishwasher were thoughtful and appreciated. The private courtyard, sitting out area was a pleasant space too. Would highly recommend as the owner (contactable by telephone) was extremely helpful when contacted. Neighbours and local community were all very friendly which was so lovely to experience.

Lovely accommodation in the Dales. Really comfortable with the addition of the lovely log burner. Fully equipped kitchen with everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Hosts were really helpful when replying to a few of our questions.

This is probably the best accommodation we have stayed in since starting to visit Leyburn 5 years ago. The location is superb, with great access to the dales and beyond. Facilities are excellent with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, cosy sofas and a well appointed kitchen. Definitely recommend!!

The parking was a bit uncertain at first but friendly neighbours pointed us in the right direction. Other than that, the only thing we didn't like was having to leave!

Location and had everything you need, nice big bedroom and nice touches with the items left for us

The cleaning could have been better especially the lounge not sure the table is needed with having the kitchen island could have had more seating

The location was great- did lovely walk from Leyburn to Castle Bolton & back ( where we got married a few years ago) also close to some lovely pubs in Leyburn and a short drive to lovely food at Wensleydale Heifer The cottage was very nice and cosy- didn’t get round to using the log burner but a great feature

Location was ideal.Cottage had a cosy feel but also spacious enough at the same time.Attention to detail by host was great with a detailed and informative welcome pack.We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived .
