The Cottage Leyburn

Beautifully presented, clean character cottage but with modern internal style and facilities. Warm, well furnished with comfortable bed with towels and linen provided. The courtesy tray was a nice touch and the additional dog towel/bed/bowl/treats were greatly appreciated. Good, central location to Leyburn, easy walking to shops, pubs and restaurants etc. and easy access to footpaths onto the Dales. Off street parking for one car.

The cottage was very comfortable and in a great location.Everything you needed was in the cottage.

There was nothing to dislike.

Fantastic space for up to four people to stay. The cottage was dog friendly and the patio area was kept clean from dog litter. Inside was spotless and the appliances where spotless. Great kitchen appliances, generally on these short breaks I feel the need to take my own pans, knives however on this occasion they stayed in the car. Beds were comfortable. Very peaceful and quiet. Plenty of walks, pubs on the doorsteps. Safe area to park the car which was free! Lovely log burning fire and smart tv with good WiFi. The owner wasn’t very quick at responding to any questions I had and lovely touch with the milk in the fridge and fresh bread and biscuits on the side on arrival.

Minor improvement - more lighting outside therefore better visibility for seeing the dogs when necessary

The back garden was very slippy when wet. The throws on the sofas had a lot of dog hairs on them, it was a little pricey but overall a great place to stay

Very well equipped, lovely decor and great value for money

Nothing negative to say! Perfect, even had a travel cot and high chair which most cottages don’t! Couldn’t find any bedding for travel cot though so used single bed sheets but that’s probably because I wasn’t looking in the right place.

What a gem of a place. Absolutely wonderful, the cottage is decorated beautifully throughout, and everything is of the highest quality. There was nothing we wanted that wasn't provided, the owners have thought of everything . We particularly enjoyed the log burner. I can't fault a single thing about this rental it's simply lovely.

The property was extremely clean and well presented. Very well equipped kitchen . The log burner in the lounger was gorgeous and all the mod cons like smart tv and internet all made the stay more comfortable

The heating has to be reset at times to come on and it did feel quite cold in the main bedroom . I know it’s winter and it’s a period property
