Cricket Field House

Grosses Zimmer, gute ruhige Lage, sehr leckeres Frühstück.

The room we had was excellent and it had a lounge room. Beautiful views over the fantastic garden and views over to the cricket ground. The breakfast was first class and staff very friendly and helpful.

Der Empfang war freundlich, die Unterkunft hat einen sehr hübschen, gepflegten Garten und rückblickend haben wir bei insgesamt 18 Unterkünften während unserer Reise dort eines der besten Frühstücke bekommen - wohl auch weil es in Buffet-Form war.

Das Haus liegt zu Fuß etwa 45 Minuten vom Ortszentrum entfernt und das Warmwasser in der Dusche war zu heiß, ließ sich aber leider nicht regeln.

The location is very quiet and peaceful, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Free parking is available, which is very convenient. It is also a great place to stay when visiting Stonehenge.

The room was comfortable, but cleanliness could have been better, as we noticed some stains on the pillows. The main issue was that there was no shampoo in the room, and when we asked, we were told that it was out of stock. The lady at reception was very kind and gave us a bar of soap, which we appreciated. However, I believe basic toiletries should always be available for guests.

Schöne ruhige Lage am Stadtrand. Alles tipptopp sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. Es gab sogar eine Badewanne.

Stayed at the Cricket Field House whilst attending a funeral in Salisbury. A first class hotel that was central to where we needed to be. Beautiful gardens and plenty of parking to go with an ultra comfortable apartment. Everything we needed to self cater was available. Although we didn’t opt to take breakfast with the hotel from what we saw it looked amazing. Would definitely recommend Cricket Field House if staying in Salisbury and would definitely stay again.

The breakfast was amazing. The choice of food on the buffet was exceptional and the cooked breakfast an added bonus. The staff were friendly and informative about local sights and places for dinner.

The furnishings were a bit dated: the bed seemed to slope towards the floor at the edges. The cleaner forgot to leave body wash for the shower. The bathroom was very tiny and there were no extra toiletries provided except for the hand wash on the basin, which we used in the shower.
