Senaru sunset house

Amazing view, awesome breakfast and hosts. Quiet stay not to far from Restaurants and gate to Tiu Kelep waterfall. We learned a lot about local gardening and farming from the host.

Amazing view! Great shower, comfy bed, large washroom, the hostel hosts are so sweet and the woman did my laundry for free :) the breakfast was delicious and so were the other food items on the menu! It’s so well located because it’s a bit out of the way in Senaru so it’s quiet but still central enough so it’s really quick to get to the restaurant areas and the waterfalls. They also have trekking and guided tours for Rinjani (I didn’t do them but see that they do them) Cute kitten too! The upstairs area is nice and overlooks a pretty view. Great price for what you get

Maybe no AC but it wasn’t too hot at night or anything so it was fine. There’s a fan which works well. I slept amazing. (Plus this is better than getting used to AC in the room and then going back out in the heat!)

Host family are very welcoming and accommodating, the views are great, quiet location close to the entrance of the waterfalls

Hot water didn’t last for long in the shower

The host is a local family who are really looking after you. The food was good and I slept well.

Great place to stay in the area, good value for money. The place has the nicest sunset view.

Electricity in the room and a bit moldy bathroom.

the owners were so so lovely, very attentive and fed me an amazing huge breakfast before my rinjani trek! it's a wonderful place to come before your hike, feels very homely 🩷

There's not much else happening in the area but i think this goes for the whole of senaru, but the waterfalls are close by :)

The host was incredibly helpful and friendly! Helped us organise drivers to and from our destinations and helped with laundry. The view is stunning and food was delicious, quiet and calm oasis away from all the street noise, and the hosts facilitated a safe and welcoming vibe.

The room was a little small with not much ventilation, perhaps better for a solo traveller although the fan helped and the facilities were great. Quite a steep walk to town and food, better if you have a scooter.

Stayed to do a one day trek and to go to the waterfalls. The view is spectacular. The hosts were superb. The breakfast was excellent large portions which was great for the hike. Fully recommend. The location is really nice, you're having a beautiful view from the terras in front of your house. Especially the sunsets are amazing. The beds are comfy and everything is clean. They serve delicious local food, and the owners and people walking around there are amazing people. They own the most adorable little cat who just makes your heart smile. Had an amazing stay here and would definitely go back there if I'm ever going to be in Senaru again!
