Beautiful property in a peaceful location. The standards and cleanliness of the property was second to none. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. We had everything we needed and more for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

The property is in a quiet and tranquil location, off a private lane, near the river which was ideal for walking and trail running. The facilities were clean and tidy with everything and more than you would expect when self catering. It was lovely to lie on the recliner overlooking the garden at sunset after a busy day. Lovely hosts. Would definitely recommend.

I stayed in this wonderful cottage with my dog. When I arrived, I could hardly believe how beautiful the cottage and the surrounding nature were. Inside, I found a warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean house. The living room was cosy with a lit fireplace. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed, including a high-quality coffee machine. The bedroom was comfortable and the bed was soft and warm. The bathroom is modern and the shower is very spacious. There was even a welcome kit for my dog ❤️ and I found breadsticks, biscuits, milk and coffee for myself. The most beautiful room in the cottage for me is the one with a view of the garden, with beautiful plants of all colours. There are also bird feeders, which make this beautiful natural setting even more relaxing. I had my coffee and lunch with this incredible view and even ate outside on the patio because it was sunny. Near the cottage, there are several options for walks in the fields, woods and on the beach (dogs allowed). Edinburgh is about a 40-minute drive away. A heartfelt thank you to the cottage owners, Scott and Bridget, who made me feel at home. The care and love they put into welcoming and hosting guests makes them unique. I highly recommend this accommodation and will return to this cottage on my next trip to Scotland.

The cottage was in a beautiful location and was clean, tidy, and well equipped. Who doesn’t love watching a huge variety of birds at a feeder whilst having their breakfast!

Everything. It was truly exceptional. Tom met us on arrival and took time to show us around and demonstrate the technology. It was perfect.

Finished to a very good standard, host was very good. Showed us around the cottage explaining everything about it. Coffee, tea, and milk in the property for your arrival. Nothing was too much trouble. Also a number of different ways to get into Edinburgh.

Beautiful cottage, very well equipped, we wanted for nothing! The owner is very nice and helpful. it´s very quiet. We found getting to Edinburgh by public transport easy: free parking at East Linton Train Station or Haddington Tesco. Take a train to Edinburgh Waverly (City Center), be there in 15 min. Alternative: take the bus X7 from Haddington, takes ca. 50 min. There´s things to see nearby and some lovely walks starting at the cottage´s door

Bellissimo cottage immerso nella natura vicino a Edimburgo, tenuto perfettamente e scrupolosamente dal proprietario Scott. Si vede che è stato rinnovato da poco gli arredi sono nuovi e tutti i servizi sono all'avanguardia e di primo livello. Abbiamo utilizzato questa struttura per visitare Edimburgo: parcheggiando a Newcraighall (a circa un quarto d'ora di macchina) è possibile prendere comodamente sia il bus sia il treno per il centro città.
