The Millers Cottage

Das Cottage ist wahnsinnig gemütlich und liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. Dazu gehört auch ein toller Garten. Die Küche hat alles, was man braucht. Die Einrichtung ist modern und komfortabel. Die Besitzer wohnen nebenan und waren für alle Fragen erreichbar. Scott hat uns sogar an einem Tag zum nächsten Bahnhof gefahren. Der nächste Supermarkt ist mit dem Auto in 10min zu erreichen.

Perfect cottage, very quiet area down a small lane, about 20 miles from Edinburgh City centre - with park and ride facilities at the train station in East Linton. Nice, clean and immaculate interior, great kitchen with coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine (and everything else a kitchen needs); and dining/living room leading to a decked patio and a view to a beautiful garden with gorgeous flowers, shrubs, trees and lots of garden birds. Lovely comfy beds in the two double rooms upstairs, great bathroom with rainforest shower. Very friendly host who met us at arrival, showed us around and explained the facilities (how to use the door key fobs, smart shower, etc). Highly recommended!

Lovely tranquil location. Well appointed and comfortable. Super friendly host. Plenty of dining options in nearby Haddington. Great connection for either Lothian coast attractions or for the train to Edinburgh.

Beautifully modernised cottage in stunning rural location. Every aspect of the cottage has been done to a high standard. Exellent host who took the time to explain all the features and made us feel very welcome. Despite rural location, the property benefits from excellent wifi. Comfortable and warm with underfloor heating, complimented by a wood burner to make it extra cozy on a chill autumn or winter night. Will book again.

The accommodation was exactly as advertised and more. It was beautiful, peaceful, cosy and the location was gorgeous. The hosts went above and beyond and were on hand for anything that we needed. The beds were so comfy and the whole place was immaculate with all modern facilities and parking on site. Sitting on the decking in a morning with a coffee watching all the different birds and listening to the water trickling was so peaceful and relaxing, a great place to chill and just let time go by. It was also a great base for Edinburgh and the local area of East Lothian 5 * for everything. My partner, myself and our son would happily buy the place if we could and live there it was that beautiful. We can't recommend it highly enough and can't wait to stay there again.
