"The location amazing and love Haworth"

7.0

The location , the basic needs of washing up liquid tea and coffee and the condiments

The radiator not secure in the bathroom ,and the banister not secure on the stairs making it harder to get round the tight corner afraid of pulling it off.

"Basic but clean and warm"

7.0

Very clean everywhere, comfortable clean beds. Accessible for town. Good central heating. Sofas clean and comfortable. Brilliant shower, bathroom warm with towel rail left on. Neighbours very friendly, especially man over the road with the metal gates.

Heating wasn't on when we arrived late November in sub zero temperatures, so didn't feel warm and welcoming. Heating broke down and although owner didn't answer the contact number given on booking, I left a message and a plumber did call and give instructions over the phone on how to fix the problem. Very prompt resolve but no call from owner to check if it was now working. Also on arrival the low battery warning was flashing on the thermostat, we put new batteries in as they died completely in our stay. We did take them back as they were expensive ones out of our camera. I didn't like the electric fire, but it was efficient. . Concerned about one extension socket used for kettle, toaster and microwave. Would have liked extra quilts or blankets on beds. Stay basic but reasonable for money we paid.

"A great potential given the location but fell far short."

4.0

Location was good, easy check in.

Place seems to be falling apart, dam + mould in numerous places that I saw, I was initially forgiving that the towel rack and bannister was falling off the wall, more so of the towel rack. I believe the bannister to be a strong safety hazard that I found concerning having brought my family with me. I am however less forgiving of these issues after seeing reviews about in particular the towel rack dating as far back as 2023 meaning the owner has done nothing about this in a year. The place wasn't particularly clean, didn't look to have been vacuumed and dishes required cleaning before we used them. I didn't particularly like the door in the kitchen to the basement but accept that's likely how the house was built, I would have preferred the addition of a lock to the door though, when downstairs we had to keep the living room door locked out of fear my 2 year old would open the door and fall down the stairs. With how small the kitchen was I was unable to block this off the way I could with the attic room stairs for her safety. A simple latch on the door would rectify this for future guests. I don't see this being acted in though after the previous history of issues. It's a shame as the pictures looked lovely but were clearly taken when the building was revamped and the current state fell short. To conclude the location is fantatsic and I will be back but perhaps not to this property.

"Great value for money, convenient location, spotless, would stay again."

8.0

The location was perfect for us, the house was spotless and had all the facilities we needed. We didn't arrive until 11pm so the availability of a late check-in was great.

The double bed in the first floor bedroom wasn't that comfortable (the mattress is quite thin) and we would have liked to find some extra blankets in a cupboard, it was Yorkshire in November so quite chilly.

"Great value accommodation in beautiful Howarth"

9.0

Location. Bedrooms, living room and kitchen all great.

Bathroom was fine, but the towel radiator was not properly attached to the wall which worried us as we had to be very careful with it.

"Trip to Haworth"

8.0

The location was fantastic. A lovely quiet street directly across from the park, bus stop, main street, and local co-op. The living room was very comfortable, the house was warm, tastefully decorated and had great wifi. The kitchen was well stocked for self catering and everything was clean. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, and two hair dryers supplied. As well as some treats and tea and coffee. We were really happy with our stay, it was great value for money and we would definitely stay again if visiting Haworth.

The images online were definitely from when it was newly decorated. There is wear and tear, but all superficial. A lick of paint over some mold spots in 1st bedroom and bathroom, filler and paint on some cracks, and some well needed filler/sealant on the tub is required, also banister on first step of the stair needs to be tightened, as well as towel rail in bathroom. My mom was very happy with the bed in her room (1st floor), my room was on the upper floor. The mattress was very soft. I feel an investment in a better mattress would be better than current mattress and topper currently in place. But regardless I slept very well. I see this as constructive criticism and not a complaint.
