Really lovely hosts, extremely helpful and welcoming. Really nice touches throughout the property and the room. Breakfast was excellent and a good system so everyone is served promptly. Good choice for breakfast. Can’t thank the hosts enough for a lovely weekend!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Sam. Everything was explained to us thoroughly and we were offered homemade cake as a welcome. The room we stayed in was so beautiful. Decorated to a very high standard. Comfortable and spotlessly clean. We couldn’t have asked for more. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and nothing was too much trouble. We loved it so much that we have rebooked to stay again in October and next year too.

The property is perfect and so are the owners Sam & Ken who certainly go the extra mile to make you feel immediately comfortable and welcome in their home. It is wonderfully maintained inside and out and there has clearly been a lot of thought put into the decor and the facilities to make it feel like a real home from home. The rooms are very well thought out with plenty of sockets often lacking in other places we have stayed, a fridge is a nice touch, free milk and even a pair of binoculars! The bed was very comfortable with quality bedding and the fan was powerful which certainly kept us cool. The WiFi was also very good. We loved the fact you can set a time for breakfast and pre-order your food, so no long waiting times when you want to get out and explore. It should also be noted that the quality of the food was unbelievable, best full english we have ever had with top quality fresh ingredients! The place and the owners are first class, we will definitely be back and we highly recommend!!

We had a lovely stay at the Stratford House!! The room was clean and very comfortable! Ken and Sam we're very welcoming, helpful and nice! The breakfast was great! I recommend!

Sam and Ken are wonderful welcoming hosts, there’s too many things too list, the location, Ken’s cooked breakfast, Sams cake, the beds, the tea and coffee facilities, tea cups and saucers, the honestly fridge, the DVDs too borrow, the bedding, the view I could go on.

Nothing all perfect

We were greeted by Sam on arrival, she was so friendly and professional explaining everything that we needed to know to make are stay comfortable and relaxing. Our room was absolutely spotless. we had two comfy chairs placed by the window so we could watch the world go by and enjoy the lovely view The room has good facilities, even a fridge with fresh milk in There is an honesty fridge on the first floor if you feel like a snack or need some more milk, which is free. There is plenty of choice on the breakfast menu, and it is all good quality . The toast is toast, not just warm bread. Thanks for a lovely stay. we will definitely be back.

The hosts ken and Sam were lovely people and couldn't do enough for us. The rooms, bed and breakfast were PERFECT! Amazing location opposite the sea. I will be back, hopefully.

Everything was superb - from the lovely friendly greeting (with delicious homemade lemon drizzle cake) to the efficient check out. Breakfasts were great, with a good choice of hot food cooked to order, and an equally good selection of cold items, including fresh fruit salad. The room was comfortable with plenty of space. A generous selection of tea and coffee too, but also a snack station for top-ups if necessary. A little fridge in the room was great for milk and water, especially as the weather was warm and muggy - very glad too to have a fan! Sam and Ken have thought of everything for their guests' comfort and they are genial hosts. I highly recommend Stratford House.
