GBGBThe cottage was perfect, the hosts Catherine & Ian have gone above and beyond with all the amenities/extras they have provided within the cottage. Ian met us at the cottage on arrival and was most welcoming and gave us some history on the cottage which was lovely. The welcome pack is the most thoughtful and generous I have seen. Although we had no issues on our stay you could tell that if you did the hosts would do everything they could to help you. I would highly recommend staying in Fishermanâs cottage.

GBThis was our first trip to Lewis with our friends. Our hosts Catherine and Ian met us at the cottage with a cheery welcome. We can honestly say The Fishermans Cottage was excellent from the superb decor, the quality towels and linen, and attention to detail. There was nothing they hadn't thought about. The welcome pack was overly generous, with local provisions, even chocolate bars, for us to enjoy. The ensuite bathrooms were stocked with local products. Which left fabulous aromas throughout the house.. we rated this 10 star, and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area, to come and experience their Hebridian hospitality. Thank you both for a memorable stay.

DEWe loved the out of the way nature of the house, exactly what we wanted to get away from town, it was a short walk to the sea, and a long walk along the coast.
There was nothing to dislike. All was taken care of including a fridge with extras as a surprise. We Also loved the hosts who had a really cool family history and connection to the area and home.
GBCatherine and Ian have thought of everything in there cottage, you can definitely travel light for your stay here and a lovely welcome hamper along with breakfast in the fridge all the facilities you need and more in the house . Very helpful with taxi numbers into stornoway for the festival and checked in with us to make sure everything was okay. They have a fabulous cottage exceptionally clean lovely comfy beds bedding and towels.
