The cottage was extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. The owners had equipped it with everything we needed and been very generous with supplies.

This property is stunning the photos don’t do it justice . Only seven miles from the ferry supermarkets & chemist on your doorstep . The location is fabulous.Catherine and Ian are amazing hosts welcomed us on arrival and gave us a tour of the cottage .Catherine and Ian have thought of everything to make sure your stay is the best it can be even right down to the personal touches with the welcome goodies and supplies.We’ll definitely be back . Cant fault this cottage in anyway

Probably the best self-catering accommodation that we have booked through Booking.Com. The cottage is beautifully furnished, comfortable and very well equipped. We absolutely loved it. Whilst not centrally located, Lewis & Harris are small enough for the cottage to be used as a base for exploring both parts of the island. Catherine and Ian were great and generous hosts and made us most welcome. Fisherman's Cottage is an absolute gem.

The hosts Catherine and Ian were absolutely marvelous hosts. Exceptionally friendly and they really did think of everything! The apartment is equipped with everything (!) you need and the attention to every detail in decor and comfort is outstanding.

This was the best appointed cottage of the many we have stayed in, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Almost every need one could think of was met, whether in the kitchen, bathrooms (we always find it convenient to have two bathrooms!) or other rooms. Catherine and Ian, our hosts, met us in person and very kindly showed us around, and also made sure during the week, that we were enjoying our stay. The location is also excellent, a few miles drive from Stornoway, so we were easily able to enjoy the local sights and pristine beaches. A trip with Stornoway Seafari is recommended.

Fisherman’s Cottage is a beautiful and immaculately presented accommodation in the heart of a picturesque island village, near to wonderful beaches and walks, and a short drive to Stornoway and other visitor sites such as the Callanish Standing Stones and Gearrannan Blackhouse Village. So much care and attention has been paid to providing a very comfortable stay, including a delicious welcome pack.

The cottage was superb, decorated perfectly to a very high standard, very comfortable and fully equipped. The hosts welcomed us to the cottage, showed us how everything worked, gave us numerous helpful tips for sight seeing, restaurants, their local knowledge was invaluable. The welcome pack was full of local and very delicious produce, made such a difference as a number of cottages we have stayed at dont even leave a pint of milk. Locally made toiletries were also in the bathrooms. All in all, I cant praise this cottage highly enough. Exceptional cottage and exceptional hosts. thank you for a fantastic holiday. Lovely harbour just a couple of minutes walk and also a gorgeous beach 10 minutes walk
