The Victorian House

Lots of things need upgrading for the money. Things broken, poor decor. Not very clean. Late check in time.

Beautiful house, very quaint and charming

Can't get in till 4 pm, so can't get the permit to park Told the cleaners are prompt at 10 am but can't get in till 4 , doesn't take 6 hrs to clean this property Not the cheapest of places to stay so found it quite ridiculous when asked if we could take our rubbish home with us. The letting agents are letting this accommodation down

Character- cosy, homely, plenty of personality. Good location 5 - 10 minutes away from centre and with a really nice pub at the end of the road. Also by the city walls - we really liked walking along them to get to town.

Comfortable and very well appointed. Great location and the bonus of free parking.

The double bed mattress is a lot softer than we are used to.

Hermosa casa, equipada , muy limpia , fácil acceso , muy acogedora , con todos los elementos necesarios para la estadía .Ubicada en un barrio residencial muy tranquilo, con un corto trayecto a pie (10 min) para llegar al centro y a la Catedral. La recomendaré a mis amigos

Beautiful home with amazing character, comfy, and within walking distance of so much of the best of York. Every amenity is in the house which is perfect in the event you forgot something at home.

The master bedroom mattress was a little too soft, but that down to personal preference and in no way is a distraction to wanting to visit again.

The property had everything we needed as a family of 4 travelling around the UK. We really appreciated the tea, coffee and biscuits. The beds were super lush and snuggly. Great communication with the host so we were able to park and access the property without issue. Easy enough walk into the centre of York for the attractions.

Whilst we didn't mind walking a bit to get to the attractions, it was a bit annoying having to do the same walk for groceries and restaurants/cafes. Our kids are teens so it was fine for us, but it might be hard with small children.

Lovely quiet street and pub on the corner. Easy distance to town center
