The Victorian House

Sıradışı bir yaşanmışlık. Şaşırtıcı. Sanki sahipleri az önce çıkmış gibi. Kütüphane görmeye değer.

The property was in great condition. Clean, comfy, well equipped.

It was clean and close to the city. The main bed was clean and comfortable.

There was a lot of clutter, the towels were old; there was no first aid kit and no hair dryer. It felt like someone else’s house.

Good location for visiting the attractions in York Ample crockery, cutlery, linen etc.

Poor state of repair (see photos) also not very clean, probably due to the amount of clutter everywhere. There is a big difference between selected Victoriana and covering every available space with musty old books and ornaments. Couldn’t use the courtyard as too overgrown and many dead plants Beds could do with replacing as not particularly comfortable. Very surprised at having to take rubbish and recycling home on departure, surely this should be included in the price, it was not cheap.

Amazing stay. Host very friendly. Charming Victorian house.

Cute, very period house in a great York location. Close to everything but on a quiet street. Lots of character in the house.
