The Victorian House

The property was full of character and in great location. Felt like a home from home.

As described, victorian themed two bed terraces house. The decor was wonderful.

If I had to give any feedback, it would be about flaking paint from some of the walls like in the bathroom. But that's nit picking, the stay was fantastic.

A really lovely atmosphere in the house. Well equipped and very homely. We really enjoyed our stay.

Bearing in mind it snowed while we were there it would have been nice to be able to light the fire. We weren’t cold but a fire would have made it very cosy.

The property needs WiFi. I know it’s stated in the terms, but this is so rare we never thought to look. One sofa needs replacing and there is some paint peeling in the bathroom. Despite that still good

Fantastic house,decor amazing ,old worldy, Everything you could possibly want was in the house, so cosy and homely.Within easy and short walking distance from train station and into centre of York andinside city walls

Earlier check in time 2 or 3pm not 4pm and depart 11am+ not 10am

Excellent location, beautiful house with lots of personal touches that made it feel like you were staying in a home rather than a holiday let.

It would have been nice to have a carton of milk rather than the sachets.
