Clean by Indian standards, okay food, but a little too far from everything

There was no hot water in the shower, so we had to shower the Indian way. The pictures showed a swimming pool, but it was under maintenance.

Clean room, smooth check-in. Basic facilities, but well-maintained. Balcony can fit one chair for tobacco-lovers. Staff is courteous and helpful, but there are limitations.

No toaster, kettle, teabags, creamer, sugar in the room when we checked in after sunset. Did not ask for them. Access to car parking was blocked by bovine intruder, so had to park car in the driveway that opens on to a narrow street.

Staff were unfriendly when we arrived. One showed us to the room opened the door threw the key on the table and slammed the door behind him. The bed had an extremely thick duvet blanket
