Traditional Welsh cottage in Llanberis

Peaceful and brilliant location for walking up Snowden

The boiler upstairs was a bit stinky and the pillows were quite bulky and hard

Great kitchen and facilities. Very clean and comfortable beds

The power kept tripping on the evening but not a massive issue

Everything was great! Plenty of space for a group of 8, lovely log burner, Netflix and all the essentials provided. Everything was clean, including bed sheets, toilets, kitchen. Great views from the cottage as well, and very close to Snowdon routes, reservoirs and other attractions. The host was very helpful and allowed us extra time at checkout due to snowy weather.

This is just a neutral feedback rather than a negative comment. It can be tricky to get there from the main road in winter, the access road is steep with many bends. Prepare in advance. You can leave your car at the bottom, as an alternative. The oil boiler had a strong smell, and we had to ventilate the rooms continuously. The pillows were too high for some of us. Some low pillows would have been nice as a backup.

Lots of space. Comfy beds. Fabulous fire place!

Furniture and fittings were a bit tired looking.

The location was brilliant, the space for us all was perfect for socialising and playing games

The road leading was an adventure in itself but doable. More nervous drivers brace yourself as its narrow and tight but we all achieved it no issue
