Aurora Distillery Cabins

Great views from the cabin! We could see many different birds and also porpoises from the window! Great place to relax.

Possibility to book sauna and also pier for swimming would be nice extras.

This place is very remote but there is a reason for that - you escape the busy world and land literally seaside in your cozy cabin where you can relax and watch the world go by. Even though the northern lights season was over at the time of our stay, the place is absolutely stunning. Some sort of dolphin pod swam by one day. We had snow one day. Blue skies the next. We took the Whiskey tour and it was very informative and the lunch before the tour was fabulous! The staff at the distillery were very friendly. Overall a very unique place and was worth the trek.

Cabins are even better in reality. Views are amazing

Everything is clean and very beautiful, nothing lacking in the cabin. Don’t want to leave! Saw auroras multiple nights right from the cabin, saw dolphins swimming by, saw an eagle fly by twice. Town is very convenient and close enough. Distillery is beautiful - definitely have the whisky sour! - and the people are very helpful and friendly. I’d love to come back.

Hint to people who like a glass of wine with dinner, alcohol is only sold on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and only from government approved liquor stores that close at 4pm, so pick up a bottle of wine before you get here!😊🍷

Amazing position and beautiful views. Perfect for watching the aurora on a clear night. Saw dolphins and sea eagles during the day.

The window view for Aurora is spectacular as this is what it’s built for. Very complete facilities, just like an ordinary apartment, with kitchen, shower, fridge etc.

Mattress is a bit soft. The parking instruction is a bit unclear, as typically guests would arrive at night, due to short day time at the location for the peak season for Aurora.
