Nothing really, except the lack of a shower, only a bath, which was weird when you emptied the water there was water trapped between the lamination of the plastic.

GBThe room was a good size and clean. The views were magnificent. However, the decor is very tired. No place to open up our case, no dressing table, room layout needs improvement. No full length mirror or comfortable area to do hair and make up. Bathroom, toilet seat was on the floor beside the toilet. No shower, just a bath, the hand shower on the bath was leaking, hand shower stand was unstable and loose from the floor. Bathroom floor tiles were extremely slippery when walking with slippers or socks on. Definitely an accident in the making. We were literally only sleeping in the room so it made do. Wouldn't book this hotel again.
The hotel situation is excellent, stunning views, conveniently situated. Parking close to the hotel can be an issue. The accommodation needs a review.

Paid & stayed in a deluxe room. Cameron room. Bed mattress was seriously soft which made it very uncomfortable.Furniture randomly placed within room. TV position was 10ft high which offered no seating position to view. No herbal tea offering in the room. No fresh fruit at breakfast buffet. Machine coffee not freshly prepared. Our host wasn't the happiest gentleman on our arrival.
SGLovely hotel that sits on a small hill overlooking Portpatrick. Has a great view of the surrounding area. Friendly staff and a nice outdoor terrace at the front of the hotel for when the weather is nice. Stayed in the Macdonald Room. A large room on the top floor with far reaching views of the sea, Portpatrick harbour and views all the way to Northern Ireland. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room as well as a small fridge. Ideally placed cushioned window seat to watch the World go by.
The WiFi signal is very weak in the Macdonald Room. I sat on the floor right next to the room door to get any kind of signal. Or there's a seat on the stairs landing one floor below if you are desperate for a stronger WiFi signal.

Loud boiler in cupboard next to bed which also made the room extremely hot. No shower in the room. Parking was very limited and not prioritised for those who are staying the night. Service was poor when ordering food, waited over an hour between main course to order desert
