Comfiest bed ever, room spotlessly clean, hosts Sue and Richard very knowledgeable on local walks and amenities and a breakfast to die for....couldn't ask for anything more

Location was brilliant - ideal base to explore the lakes! The breakfast was amazing. The owners are lovely and gave lots of advice!

It’s not something that bothered me but think it’s worth people being aware the house is old. There are squeaking floorboards certainly in our room (poster bed room), the floor was noisy but really it didn’t bother us at all. If you’re precious about those things, be aware.
