Beautiful property in a great location. Owners were very friendly breakfast was amazing with a fantastic choice. Location was good with a very short walk into a beautiful village. cant recommend enough.

"Great venue, great village and a great time in the area."

Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of locally sourced produce. The hosts were engaging and knowledgeable of the local area and happy to make recommendations. A great place to stay for the local Pubs and dining options and you could jump on a bus and visit other villages around the lake district if walking was not your thing.

The access to the property was challenging due to the narrow lanes which are typical of lake district. Only a few hundred yards from the main village of Hawkshead so walking around once the car was safely parked at the B&B was the order of the day.
