Quechua Hotel Cusco

Breakfast was good. The staff especially William, the night manager, were excellent. Went beyond what was expected.

Maintenance in the rooms needs some extra effort. In the first room we got (218), there was no towel rail although the brackets were there. A hole in the washbasin instead of a strainer. No shelf for keeping soap in the shower stall. Room heater did not work, we were provided a portable one, no hot water in the washbasin

The breakfast was ok, the hotel was rather cheap as far as hotels go but it was disappointing

The kitchen staff was rude at best, they would let dishes and cutlery run out completely, so people were standing around waiting to get food quite a lot. No exhaust fan in the bathroom so it gets rather humid after 2 adults and the 3 kids take baths and then the bathroom stays wet until its cleaned by room service the next day. You can hear people coming and going all night, you can hear them shut their door from the other end of the hotel. And its cold in the rooms

Die Lage ist perfekt, direkt an der Altstadt, die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich. Wir hatten eine elektrische Heizung im Zimmer, was die Nacht angenehmer gemacht hat.

Die Bilder sind übertrieben schöner als und er Realität, bei uns war das Bad absolut nicht den Bildern entsprechend ( s.u.). Die Zimmer in echt deutlich kleiner als auf dem Bild, wenn man Koffer aufmacht, dann kann man nicht mehr im Zimmer laufen. Wir haben auf der unterschied den Mitarbeiter angesprochen, Bilder auch gezeigt, er hat gelächelt und gesagt, es ist alles richtig. Im Zimmer fehlen auch Ablageort oder wo man Jacke/ obere Kleidung aufhängen konnte. Frühstück war nichts besonderes, verschieden Auswahl, aber wenige Optionen um satt zu sein für Vegetarier, etwas komische Mischung der Auswahl unserer Meinung nach. Kein Trinkwasser im Hotel, was man kostenlos auffüllen konnte.

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel per 3 notti e l'esperienza è stata nel complesso sufficiente, con evidenti lati positivi ma anche alcune criticità. La posizione è sicuramente il punto di forza della struttura, decisamente comoda per raggiungere il centro di Cuzco a piedi e spostarsi facilmente. Nota di merito anche per la pulizia, dato che tutti gli ambienti sono risultati puliti e ben curati. I problemi principali hanno riguardato i servizi e la comunicazione: lo staff non sapeva minimamente l'inglese, il che ha reso le interazioni piuttosto difficili. Inoltre, abbiamo trovato molto penalizzante l'orario della colazione, che inizia alle 6:00. A Cuzco molte escursioni partono molto prima e, a differenza di altri hotel che aprono la sala alle 5:00, qui non abbiamo potuto beneficiare del servizio. Una struttura con del potenziale, ma che dovrebbe adattarsi meglio alle esigenze dei turisti.
