Point Sebago Resort

General store on site with essentials you might need, including freshly brewed coffee, but close enough to Windham if you need more.

Location was nice and staff were pleasant.

The bedrooms in the trailer were about 85 degrees. The AC wasn’t working well enough to keep the unit cool. The toilet broke as well.

Cabins are dog friendly, ample parking, good A/C units, and appreciated cable TV during the Olympics. Property felt safe with good staff/security presence. Property has a variety of activities althought facilities show some age.

Booking/confirmation did not mention the lack of bedding or linens. In fact, the booking did mention towels which were not there. When we arrived we were advised to ‘go shopping’ for sheets and towels in town. Cabins are dog friendly but most of the resort is not dog welcoming including the outdoor seating for restaurants, the main square (aka wi-fi zone), and any of the beaches. Wi-Fi and cellular coverage is very bad so don’t plan to rely upon connectivity if you need it (I appreciate that disconnecting is the idea but sometimes not practical). The resort has a bunch of QR codes for menus, booking watersports/boats, etc…which are useless without connectivity. Cabins are full of ants so keep everything sealed tight.

We did not use the lounge for breakfast this stay. But next year we will be! We were not sure of the time it was served at the lounge so we sometimes ate food we brought or went to the general store.
