"Lovely large house. We had a great stay."

Very large and spacious. Informed the owner the number of people arriving and the cleaner arrived with new cutlery and diner set so we had plenty which was nice. Nice little garden at the back which was an added bonus.

Bulbs missing but wasn't a problem as we had working lamps, so I didn't inform the owner till we left. Both double beds were slightly uncomfortable but that's probably due to our preference. Just needs a little cosmetic work ie peeling wallpaper, but nothing major.

Good location and clean property

Recently painted by the looks of it but not a good finish woodwork not finished and a lot of paint on glass. Could have done with a shower room downstairs as one bathroom for 7 people not enough. Being picky about the paintwork but a bit more attention would have been better.

"Great spot outside city centre"

We stayed here for Eurovision weekend. It was perfect as it was out the way of the main city but easy to get into liverpool from. Bus station down the street and weatherspoons not far. Meant we could easy get food and drinks without the busyness of the city that weekend. Bus to city was easy and only a 10 1t minute journey. Plenty of space for a large group, there were 7 of us. Plenty equipment, cups plates etc. Clean comfortable rooms. I was shocked to get a place for such a good price for Eurovision weekend, and was dubious about what it would be like for such a low price on a huge weekend, but I was pleasantly surprised at a decent place. Area was also quieted and more residential than I expected.

Only tiny thing that wasn't great was the shower. Not very powerful, however there were 7 of us so possibly not suited for many people taking showers one after another. Still worked fine and we were all clean enough!

Poor finish in decor. Eg paint all over door handles, skirting boards half painted.
