Location was lovely, building was modern & bright, really friendly staff, great ambience & food

The only negative was it was really hot in the bedroom (they did provide a large fan which helped a little!). Couldn’t open windows at night as had to avoid insects coming in being right next to the river on a hot night. Room was lovely otherwise - some fly screens at the windows would solve the problem!

Great location, staff very friendly and welcoming. Food was terrific, room was beautifully appointed. Extra nice touch, some beverages in the fridge!

We were above the bar and there was a lot of banging door noise. Maybe some softer close mechanism would be good. It did not go on late into the night, so not a big thing!

Excellent service and convenient. Extremely clean and comfortable room. Great bed linen and towels. Superb bathroom amenities.

The pillow were rather thin. It was a bit noisy early morning with people walking upstairs. On the booking was river view but we had the car park with some of the river... Also, check out at 10am is a bit early.

It’s a beautiful place with a lovely riverside location. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable and we had everything we needed to enjoy our visit. The coffee machine, complimentary water and toiletries were perfect and the bed linen and towels were clean and comfortable. We didn’t visit the bar or restaurant this time but it looked lovely and staff were friendly.

The only small snag was that there was a room opposite ours that was used by, I am presuming staff, quite late (around 11/11.30pm) both nights and when accessing the room, the doors would slam shut and as a result, our door shook too. There was keys jangling etc and moving things around so perhaps a storage room - it was enough to wake us all up which was a shame.

There is nothing not to like. Great setting Spotless rooms Excellent food Brilliant staff Thank you, we will be back
