There was a weird chemical smell in the room that gave us a headache. We tried to air out the room, but that didn’t help really. Also the hot water in the shower wasn’t working, plus the electricity cables of the shower head where put together by tape

Loved it! The check-in was super easy (got a gate code and then there was the host inside). I needed it just for a night sleepover (coming late and leaving early), so no other expectations than a room, a bed and a WC. Good price. Good location. Thank you!

Central located, comfortable bed, clean towels (smelled for chlorine, positive!), room was clean, WiFi was good, new Air Condition, fridge in the room, calm and quite silent at night. Enough for sleep and do activities during the day. The place is super basic, but that's what you get for the price.

The electric showers are a big problem, this time was the second time I had problems with the electric showerhead (one time it was prickling in your fingers, when opening the water in the shower), this time there was a short circuit in the shower (fortunately I wasn't showering, just waited for the water to become hot), that is a big NO GO!

Lack of communication about access code to property, first room was leaking water onto the bed but we were able to move rooms, twice in our 2 night stay our water supply was cut off so couldn't shower or flush the loo.

The smell in the bathroom was horrible. Would never ever stay in this hotel again!

Close to the main attractions of Playa de Carmen.

Hard to adjust the shower.
