"A nice place to stay at a good price"

7.0

location was very good and quiet, with good parking and a nice feature pond

Light in hallway to bedrooms has a sensor and comes on whenever you come out of your rooms which during the night is a bit too much, an Isolator to turn it off would have been good. Some doors to cupboards in kitchen are in need of repairs Also there is an adjoining property which is not mentioned but did not effect our stay at all BUT otherwise it was a decent place to stay for the 2 of us and the dogs at a fair price for what we needed it for and would stay again

"Only half house shown, you share washer/dryer/heating/BBQ/FirePit with guests on other side of house"

5.0

The plus was the size of the rooms, but please read our entire review as the listing is very misleading, you only get half this house, noisy from other side of house guests, and utility door which you both share destroys privacy if they try the door whwen you are relaxing in the lounge Only 50% was pet friendly, no dogs allowed in any bedrooms so if that's all your dogs know, you are in for a disturbed night Beds were very comfy, but check pillows as two were brown with very dark staining all over them once you get under the pillow protectors Very disappointed as the booking was made based on the house being detached, pet friendly and quiet, but walls are very thin and other guests can be heard talking etc when trying to sleep, cleaner also very noisy when next door cleaning and the dryer was left running after she left which is a fire hazard if you go out!

Had to boil water on stove for cuppas as kettle was extremely scummy inside and out Bed sheets had cleaner’s black hairs on one bed and blood stains on the other. Two pillows are brown and stained (as shown in photo) Had to clean air fryer before we could use it to get rid of grease, all chairs were gunked with sticky stuff and hadn’t been wiped down in some time Our little dog kept coming to us with webs or lumps of dust across his nose from under and behind the furniture It does NOT SAY the property is split into 2 occupancies OR that you both SHARE a midsection utility room via a locked door on either side (our side was in the lounge) and has CCTV in it so they can basically HEAR everything from the lounge, bathroom and bedroom too! Same heating system works BOTH properties, and if either turn it on up down or off it affects BOTH whether you like it or not NOTHING ON LISTING warns that although ‘pet friendly’ it only applies to 50% of the house, pets aren’t allowed in the bedrooms or bathroom, which is unacceptable when paying non refundable, to find out only ON ARRIVAL that your well behaved dogs who have only EVER slept in your bedroom, are expected to sleep in the open plan kitchen lounge, not helped that the door to bedrooms won’t stay closed, so that was impossible We chose the house as it appears detached with nice grounds and BBQ, hammock, fire pit… but they’re actually shared between both properties, and the fire pit/BBQ areas are next to two bedroom windows on the other side of the house where other guests stay and sleep so not usable at night Pray the cupboard doors (for show only) that are over the cooker rings don’t fall off, they’re hanging by an thread, and at serious risk of sending boiling hot pans crashing down on you, your children or pets!

"Perfect for contractors/everyday bookings"

10.0

The house was lovely and warm, spacious, beds were comfy, lovely and quiet for a good nights rest and the most important thing for me as a tradesman - excellent parking facilities for the van at night.
