Koggala Beach Hotel

Lovely beach resort. Rooms are nice, food was yummy and amazing pool view. We enjoyed the evening sunset. Good value for money.

Уединенное расположение, большой широкий пляж, но купаться там невозможно, очень сильные волны, вид на море из окна номера.

Завтрак по системе шведский стол не вкусный, номер уставший, сантехника плохая.

The View of the rooms and the size of the rooms. Staff is sweet

It's really old. Smells of moisture. Doors are of old wood that make noise. They don't give comforters. Only a bedsheet is given at first. When you ask for a blanket they will give you some blanket that smells weird again. No room service options. No one answers the phone at the bar.

Das Frühstück und Abendessen sind sehr gut, die Auswahl ist groß, da Buffet. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht, wenn auch sehr langsam. Der Manager ist sehr nett, versucht all die Mängel (schimmel in den Zimmern) zu kompensieren und so konnten wir problemlos in ein beach cabana wechseln. Dort sind die Zimmer besser. Der Strand ist menschenleer, da die Wellen hoch und die Unterströmungen stark sind!

Das Hotel ist dem Verfall preisgegeben. Überall Schimmel, vor allem in den Badezimmern! Wir mussten das Zimmer wechseln, weil es so gestunken hat. Die beach cabanas waren gut. Die Zimmer allesamt zum Vergessen! Die Liegestühle und Auflagen sind in den letzten 20 Jahren nicht erneuert worden und in einem dementsprechenden Zustand!! Ich war vor 21 Jahren schon ein Mal in diesem Hotel. Das Dach bricht ein, der Schimmel an allen Wänden. Aber das Personal ist sehr bemüht all diese Mängel wettzumachen. Der Manager ist sehr nett und sehr bemüht! Der Pool ist furchtbar dreckig.meine Tochter hat einen Harnwegsinfekt bekommen! Das Meer ist zu wild an diesem Strand, die Unterströmungen sehr strak. Kein Schwimmen möglich!!

The location is very good. Easy access to beaches and easy access to main roads.

Food quality was poor. And some food trays were empty.

The location right next to a very long empty clean beach is great. It is hardly nobody there. The facilities were probably fantastic 20 years ago. A true resort but not renovated since at least 20 years. It feels a bit abandoned, but most things are functioning.

There is a lot of staff but the service seems a bit off. I had to remind about things twice.
