Room was super comfy and bathroom was nice

Absolutely No cutlery, plates or cups in the property which is bizarre considering it was advertised as having an equipped kitchen.

If we could have got the keys and get into the property! We never got to see the inside.We used your phone number for help ,you never replied to our numerous voice mails .We gave up and went to the Leonardo Hotel . So I carnt rate our stay as it didnt happen apart from the hour we spent on the pavement in the rain trying to open the key boxes which didnt work .Obviously we carnt rate a stay we didnt have !

The room was clean and comfortable, the location is convenient, and for what I needed on this trip, met my requirements.

There is no real, meaningful staff contact, you just speak to some offshore concierge service, who really don't know how to engage, don't care and almost sound scripted, you'd be better off talking to an AI chat bot, at least the AI chatbot would do a better job of customer engagement. Don't book a room unless you've carefully read the terms and conditions, you'll receive a sudden request for a security deposit which you will have to wait much longer to be refunded than their T & C's misleadingly suggest, if you phone to chase it expect to be fobbed off or lied to.

There was a bad smell when I first arrived. There could be more glasses, plates etc and a dish towel.

I couldn’t access the property as the key lock did not operate. I contacted the emergency line which stated I was number 1 in the queue and open until midnight. No one answered or replied to my messages. So at 11:00pm I had to book alternative accommodation. Obtaining a full refund has been difficult. Still not fully repaid, Varsity Studios stating the final balance is due from Booking.com and not them. A Nightmare

The location was great, 10 minute walk from the railway station and the city centre. The studio itself is nice, modern and fairly clean. The instructions were clear on how to get in and the hosts did try to help with any issues.

TV doesn’t work (looking at past reviews this is obviously a reoccurring issue). It’s a smart TV however there is no remote to control this. Flagged this to the hosts who were responsive however the issue wasn’t resolved due to maintenance workers not working the weekend? Not great if you’re a solo traveller staying for 3 nights, you would expect a working TV. Salt and pepper was also empty. Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything that’s going on in the room next to you.
