Begasti guest house, for trekking lovers, free parking included

It’s a very nice stay we have experienced the country side of the village, Philippo was one of the best hosts we have ever met, he was very careful and helpful, he helped us with the luggages and he gave us a good advices and recommendations about the village. the house was very clean we had a small farm that we could get a fresh tomatoes and lemons and eggplant, it really made the experience much better. highly recommend especially for the the trekking lovers.

Nothing much, but it’s will be much better if there was an iron and washer.

The location was incredible, you have a really nice view of the town Monterosso. The owner is super friendly, he helped us with everything we needed. You can also test local products: vegetable, fruit or you can even buy vine from the vineyard which is located around. Despite the fact that it is high and you have to climb up, it is worth it. This place stays in your memory for a long time. We recommend it.

Amazing view from top the hill of the city, beach and hills. Owner help to get luggage on top with special personal train. The entire territory is covered with vineyards, fruit trees. We air was a specially cleen, smell full of flovers and the environment- it was like we were in the sky. It was amazing

Was some mosquitoes but its natural in the environment

The property was gorgeous, located in the middle of a vineyard. We enjoyed the hike through the vineyard to reach the lovely house. The house has everything you need, and has a lovely sitting and lounging area outside to enjoy. It was so peaceful to wake up and have a coffee outside looking down at the beautiful view of Monterosso. We also enjoyed eating fresh tomatoes, chillis, cherries and herbs from the garden. Fillipo was a wonderful host with lots of helpful information about the local area, places to eat and drink, and nearby trails. We had a wonderful stay!

Begasti winary is an AMAZING place. The view and the peace are something you don’t find often in 5 terre. The walking path to access the structure is short but quite steep so I recommend a minimum trekking training level and the right shoes. For the rest, everything has been superb, the apartment is new, super clean , comfortable and it has all the cooking equipment. We have been welcomed with a bottle of Begasti wine ( produced with the grapes right under our bedroom) in the apartment and, for dinner, we were able to collect and eat our tomatos directly from our private vegetable garden in front of our door. The place has also a super easy access to the path to Vernazza and other 5 terre. Filippo, our host, has been nice, very helpful and available to tell and show us everything we wanted to know about wine agriculture in 5 terre and begasti old winary. It may not be exactly in Monterosso center but the peace, the view, the nature and the company are priceless! This is our new favourite place in 5 terre, thank you Filippo!
