Cley Corner Cottage

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Great location.

Some of the kitchen utensils could do with replacing. Tea stains on the table and no anti- slip mat in the bath.

The location was absolutely outstanding and was the main reason for choosing this property.

We were extremely disappointed with the outside garden furniture which has definitely seen better days . We were also disappointed that there were no logs because we were really looking forward to lighting the lovely open fire after a long journey. Also that the fact that there was no toiletries apart from toilet rolls. Additionally the kitchen table and chairs , the chairs are incredibly uncomfortable and noisy! This has been pointed out on numerous other reviews so I really suggest that they should be addressed. Also which we find disappointing is the fact that you can only arrive at the property from 5pm which really seems unfair considering how much you have to pay for a few days away . The pub next door is outstanding.

Lovely situation on the North Norfolk coast, and a pub next door. The kitchen had all of the equipment we required for self catering (which isn't always the case!).

No complaints, but if I was to suggest improvements- a set of larger plates in the kitchen, and a rearrangement of the furniture in the living room so the sofa is by the tv and the armchairs near the window, giving better access to the view.

Amazing location, 15 minute walk to the beach. Really cosy cottage, with all you needed for a comfortable stay. The welcome hamper was really appreciated. Really warm despite the cold temperatures outside. The log burner was a bonus. Nice to have a porch for boots and to dry the dog's feet before going in.

There were just a few tiny niggles. The garden was enclosed but the hedge was very low, so just be careful if you have a dog. The armchairs in the lounge were a little firm. There is parking on the grass outside the property but it's uphill and we had some wheel skidding when it got wet.

The location is amazing. It was simple and perfect for us - nice size, good garden for dogs, immediate coast access and next to a good pub.

Everything was great. The garden was enclosed but could probably be even more enclosed eg slightly better/higher front fence so no risk of child/dog escape onto road but really it was brilliant

Cottage was in a fantastic location with wonderful views over the Marshes and next door to a friendly pub! Cottage had all that we needed, was nice and clean and lovely and warm. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay !

If I am really picky we found the metal chairs in the kitchen a bit annoying but nothing else.
