Cley Corner Cottage

Excellent location. Great facilities. Beautiful cottage, lots of kitchen utensils, crockery etc. very comfortable beds.

Could have been cleaner. One of the armchairs smelt strongly of dogs. Would have benefitted in having an outdoor table in the back garden.

Location fantastic - views from the cottage couldn’t fault. The outside space and the fact it was enclosed for our small dog was really helpful. The character and charm of the cottage lovely. Very handy to have parking right outside.

The cottage felt very neglected for the price we paid. (£300 a night) Kettle very lime-scaled the lid wouldn’t shut. Cutlery all stained. Sofas stained. Shower curtain mould. Wires coming out the walls in bedroom. Very cheap battered furniture in the bedrooms. No mirrors in bedrooms. Rusty bathroom mirror. Such a shame as it could be so lovely with abit of thought and love gone back into it. The photos we felt made it look better than it was inside.

Cley cottage is absolutely gorgeous inside and location wise as well. The cottage is exceptionally equipped with absolutely everything catered for including a welcome basket of local treats. Wanted to stay forever!Gi

Absolutely perfect

Excellent location. Property was clean and contained everything we needed as if it were our home.

Obviously, the location is fantastic. Right on the marshes and right next to a pub and shop. It's very clean, there's a little welcome pack of tea/coffee/milk etc, and plenty of towels. Beds are very comfy. Heating works well when it's freezing outside! It's a lovely little cottage with a super garden in a great spot.

Kitchen chairs are hideously uncomfortable and noisy on the floor. Living room deceptively photographed and would be a problem if 4 people wanted to watch TV (we didn't, so it didn't matter). Having to go through one bedroom to get downstairs means you need to be very intimate with your companions (again, not an issue for us, but easily missed). It's a great place, but is really overpriced. However, to be fair, it seems that most of Norfolk has been elevated to 6* prices over the last couple of years, so....

Very comfy, warm (it was very cold outside) cottage. Excellent location for us as birdwatchers with views and access to the marshes and close to the shingle beach. Millie the dog was very happy there

It would have been nicer to have some better wooden chairs in the kitchen/diner but the folding metal ones did the job. The lights in the lounge were ok for tv watching but poorly located for reading.

Unbeatable location, excellent for birdwatching and close to a very good village shop and pub!

The fridge needs replacing - otherwise everything was clean and in good working order.

Lovely cosy little cottage, spotlessly clean and in an excellent location central to the north Norfolk coast. The view over the marshes for bird spotting from the windows was amazing! Nice touch with welcoming tea / coffee with biscuits and cake too! Great to have an excellent pub that was dog friendly next door too!

Couldn’t really fault it so I’m not going to write 2 or 3 sentences for the sake of it!

Perfect location, next door to good pub and village store

Would have benefited from out door seating at the back of the house.
