Pas de climatisation dans le dortoir, les ventilateurs seulement, il fait très chaud la journée Les trajets tuktuk avec l’hôtel me paraissent chers mais pas trop le choix

Sigiriya Bird Hostel was the best part of my Sri Lanka trip. The hostel is surrounded by nature and feels peaceful, but what truly makes this place special are the hosts, Nimesika (Akka) and Nuwaan. They treated me like family from day one. As a solo traveler, I never felt alone. Akka cared for me like a sister, and Nuwaan treated me like his younger brother, showing me around, helping me with everything, and expecting nothing in return. Because of them, I experienced the real Sri Lanka, not just the tourist places. Whenever I visit Sri Lanka again, I will definitely stay here, and next time I'll bring my family too. Thank you for the unforgettable memories. ❤️🇱🇰

家族の温かさをすごく感じられる場所です！ 外には、ハンモックがあってそこでゆっくりするのもおすすめです！ ご飯もすごく美味しいです！ いろんなことをとても親切に教えてくれます！

Famille très accueillante, gentille et arrangeante. Je recommande fortement ce logement, famille vraiment adorable et bienveillante, lieu très reposant et calme ; ils ont aussi un restaurant, les plats sont vraiment délicieuse.

It's a family run hostel by a young couple. They're very friendly and helpful with everything. Also have 2 very cute little children. They try their best to make you feel comfortable. They gave me some local tips for my visit. They can offer you a tuktuk ride to Lion's Rock, Pidurangala or Dambulla too! The place is very well located, very close to the village center, 5mins walk. It has a really big and nice garden where you can chill, lay on the hammock, watch the stars at night or play around with the children :) Room was big enough, comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Nimesika (the wife) prepares everything for you, including very delicious Sri Lankan meals. They also have a restaurant run by her in front of the property. Even though you don't stay there, you can go for lunch or dinner or drinks.

ライオンロックにも近く，便利でした。なにより、宿の方がとても良き家族で癒されました。次の目的地に行くバスに乗るのにダンブッラの石窟寺院を観光して行こうと思っていたのですが、すぐにトゥクトゥクを用意してくれました。カレーもとても美味しかったです。有難うございました。

Eine sehr herzliche junge Familie führt dieses Hostel. Es befindet sich in einer guten Lage und man kann alles zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad (kann man sich im Hostel leihen) erreichen. Das Zimmer ist mit einem Ventilator ausgestattet und da es aktuell sehr heiß ist in Sri Lanka hat die Familie sogar noch ein zweiten besorgt. Es gibt ein schönen Garten mit Hängematten zum entspannten. Das Frühstück war super lecker und jeden Tag gab es etwas anderes. Doch besonders toll war die Familie - super lieb und hilfsbereit! Ganz lieben Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt!

The staff were nice.

The staff didn’t check us in and show us around d the property or how to use the facilities, they had no wifi and “we’re going to town to get some”, the door to our room didn’t come with a lock/key and there were monkeys everywhere (right outside our door which didn’t lock).
