Sigiri Birds Hostel

I really liked this cute little hostel. Very chilled vibes and friendly hosts. The location is amazing as it's close to the rocks and another lake. The beds were quite big and a mosquito net was there as well.

The door of the bathroom is broken, so you can't close it and also the fan didn't really work. But it was still cold enough as we left the windows open during the night.

The friendliness of the host family! They make you feel right at home in a little hut surrounded by nature. It was super special to have learned how to cook dhal curry with string hoppers one night with the host for our dinner!!

The cleanliness of the toilet could be improved

The hostel is small only offering four double beds in one room for women only. Breakfast is included.

It was very damp, and whether that was because of the rain I don’t know, but everything felt wet, nothing would dry. Also there was no power for nearly the whole day on my second night but again not the fault of the hostel. I was robbed by a young women of nearly all my money here so make sure you lock it away. Again not the fault of the hostel.

I arrived at this hostel to spend one night and ended up 4 and leaving was completely heartbroken 🥹❤️‍🩹It is a family hostel where I felt like one of the family, I am very very happy and grateful to have been lucky enough to find such a ✨special ✨place to which I will definitely return and of course recommend, because thanks to the hosts my experience in Sigiriya was spectacular🌄. So thank you very much family ❣️❣️ And wait for me because insha'Allah I will return as soon as I can🧡🐘🌴💙

An amazing stay with a sweet family! The owner is really helpful and his wife is a nice cooker, full of attention. Both ready to do everything to make you feel at home, safe and happy! I highly recommend this place!

Everything was perfect!

Super location, lion's rock 15 minute walk. Staf is very frendly, highly recommended.

The owner are so nice, they lived next to the room so if you have a pb, a question they can answer. There are so available for their guests. The garden is so beautiful

Just the cold shower but it was too hot so I didn’t care too much

This was the most welcoming and beautiful hostel i have stayed!! Run by a gorgeous young family who will make u feel at home and help u in anyway they can! Woman only hostel so as a solo girl I felt very safe. and met some great friends here :) Could not recommend more
