"Lovely location"

Lovely quiet location with a perfect friendly host. Safe to park a motorbike (or many...) and bikes are welcome. All amenities are excellent. Very well recommended.

You'll get a warm and friendly welcome from Maebh and if she's not there Marielle will greet you and show you around. The Barn is a huge older-style property with a large sitting room for guests with a wood-burner. Unusually for a hostel, toast and cereal as well as tea and coffee are available for guests free of charge. My room was well-equipped and the shower was lovely. The Barn is in a small village about 5 miles from the nearest bigger place so a car is necessary. It was perfectly quiet and I had a good night's sleep. Thanks Maebh!

Very helpful hosts. Cosy charming environment

A lot of food items in the kitchen expired, with limited options for breakfast. Kitchen cleanliness needs improving.
